iphone 7 plus control panel applications

I got a new iphone 7 plus with IOS 10.0.2 and now when trying to launch the flashlight, calculator, camera , or stop watch it intermittently will not recognize my touch. Not sure if it is hardware or software related. Anybody else having this issue?

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities, and congratulations on your new iPhone! That is awesome, the new iPhones are really cool.

I see that when opening the Control Center and trying to launch the Flashlight, Calculator, Camera, and Stop Watch, it intermittently will not recognize your touch. I use the Control Center all the time on my iPhone, so I know that it's important we get this working for you consistently.

If this just happened when you got your new iPhone, I would recommend giving the iPhone a fresh restart, and then see if you get this issue again. Please take a look at the following article:
